The Short Version

We collect as little as possible. We don't sell your data. We don't want your data. We built BetterBet because we care about recovery, not because we're building an ad business. Full stop.

What We Collect

BetterBet may collect the following minimal information:

• Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and the username or display name you choose.
• Usage data: Like most apps, BetterBet may receive anonymized technical data — things like crash reports or error logs — that help us fix bugs. This comes through Apple's built-in tools and is not tied to your identity.
• What you choose to share: If you log habits, streaks, or other personal milestones in the App, that information lives on your device or in your account. We don't analyze it, sell it, or use it for anything other than making the App work for you.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not build profiles of you for commercial purposes.

Third-Party Services

BetterBet is built on iOS infrastructure, which means Apple may collect certain technical data as part of standard platform operations. You can review Apple's privacy practices at apple.com/privacy. Beyond Apple's standard tools, we currently use no third-party analytics, advertising, or data platforms.

Your Rights

You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete your data. If you have questions about what we hold or want it removed, just ask: hello@betterbet.app

A Note on Sensitivity

We understand that information about gambling habits and recovery is deeply personal. We treat it that way. The information you share with BetterBet stays with BetterBet. We take that seriously.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we'll update this policy and tell you clearly before anything changes. We won't bury it in the fine print.
